Full Circle

It has been nearly a year since we started our sheep and goat farm, and we have come full circle. It is again breeding season to plan for our 2025 lamb crop. We just sent our first crop to market and are very pleased with their quality. Next year we will be lambing 3 times a year; January/February, April/May, and September/October. We have a direct marketing program with a Restaurant/Meat Market in Sheboygan, WI and they want 1 lamb per week and 1 goat per month. In order to have a steady supply for them, we have changed our program to lambing 3 times a year and we plan to have our does kid in March and September (we will have 2 herds of does. It will be interesting to develop this, and I am sure there will be adjustments to be made along the way. It is exciting to begin this new marketing plan. Thanks again for joining us at Norwal Farm'
