Kala mutton rassa ia made in kala masala or vatan hence the name. There is a tradition to have non veg on the day next to holi. So here is the recipe. Do try this delicious, spicy. Pungent recipe at home and drop a comment for me.

Ingredients:
• 2 tsp Oil
• 1 cup finely chopped Onion
• 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
• 1 tsp Turmeric powder
• 375 gm Mutton
• Water
• Salt to taste
• Dry coconut
• 2 onions
• 5~6 Garlic cloves
• Coriander leaves (Optional)
• 2 tsp Oil
• 2 tsp Kala masala
• Red chili powder
• Salt to taste

Method:
• Heat up oil in a cooker.
• Add onion and fry until it gets light golden color.
• Add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder and fry for about a
minute.
• Wash mutton really good 3-4 times under running water and add.
• Coat it well with the masala.
• Add water, salt and mix well.
• You can add water according to how much rassa you want.
• Close the lid and cook on medium heat until 7-8 whistles.
• Insert a fork or knife into the dry coconut and roast it directly on
the gas.
• It should be nice and black from inside out.
• Insert fork or knife into the onions and roast them well until upper
portion is totally black. Do not peel the onions.
• When the onions cool down a little peel off the upper black part
and cut them into pieces.
• Transfer the onion into a blender jar.
• Add garlic, a small piece of roasted coconut chopped into pieces,
coriander leaves and blend everything into paste.
• Adding coriander leaves is optional. You can skip it if you don’t
want.
• Vatan or masala for kala mutton is ready.
• The cooked mutton is known as alani muttonor khara mutton. It is
good for kids.
• Heat up oil in a pan.
• When oil is a little hot add the blended masala and mix well.
• Fry the masala really good for about 2-3 minutes.
• Add kala masala, red chili powder and mix well.
• Fry the masale for about 2 minutes.
• Add cooked mutton along with the stock, a little water, salt to
taste and mix well.
• We have added salt while cooking the mutton. So be careful while
adding salt.
• Simmer the mutton on medium heat for about 7-8 minutes.
• Kala mutton rassa is all ready.
• You can have this with bhakari.
