So this is the infamous Cheese and Veggie Omelet MRE (Menu No.4). This one was only produced for four years (2005-2008). I recently got this one from eBay and it's from the first year of production (2005). Bottom line, I do consider this to be my least favorite MRE of all time (not including the old brown bag menus from the 1980s), but at the same time, it's certainly edible (if not appetizing), especially if you have nothing else available to eat.
