Prayer

Father God,

We come before You today, and we declare that in Christ alone our hope is found. Not in our abilities, not in our circumstances, not in the approval of others—but in Him. He is our light when the world goes dark. He is our strength when we have none left. He is our song when words fail us.

Lord, we thank You that Jesus is the Cornerstone, the solid ground that stands firm through every storm life can throw at us. What heights of love, what depths of peace we find in Him. When fears rage and strivings exhaust us, He is our Comforter, our All in All. Here in the love of Christ, we stand.

We marvel at the mystery of the incarnation—the fullness of God in a helpless babe. This gift of love and righteousness, scorned by the ones He came to save. He who knew no sin became sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God. Till on that cross, as Jesus died, the wrath of God was satisfied. Every sin—past, present, future—was laid on Him. And here, in the death of Christ, we live.

But the grave could not hold Him. There in the ground His body lay, the Light of the world by darkness slain. Then bursting forth in glorious day, up from the grave He rose again! And as He stands in victory, sin's curse has lost its grip on us. For we are His, and He is mine, bought with the precious blood of Christ.

Now, no guilt in life, no fear in death—this is the power of Christ in us. From life's first cry to final breath, Jesus commands our destiny. No power of hell, no scheme of man can ever pluck us from His hand. Till He returns or calls us home, here in the power of Christ we stand.

We stand secure. We stand forgiven. We stand victorious. Not because we are strong, but because He is. Not because we deserve it, but because He gave it.

Thank You, Father, for the unshakable foundation of Your love. Thank You, Jesus, for the finished work of the cross. Thank You, Spirit, for the seal of our inheritance.

In the matchless, powerful, and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Cornerstone and our King,
