ChattState's TCAT–Industrial Electronics

The Industrial Electronics Program is for students interested in both electric and computer-based technology. It’s a 3 semester, hands-on program, taught on the main Chattanooga State campus, and features training with basic computer hardware and low voltage systems. It also focuses on installations, programming, and troubleshooting scenarios with:
• closed circuit video systems,
• fire alarms,
• smart home systems
• and Programmable Logic Controllers.
Graduates of the program can find employment as technicians and troubleshooters in such areas as:
• Home automation installation
• Business Electronics installation
• Instrument installation
• Fire alarm installation
• Basic computer repair
• Basic Programmable Logic Controller installation
