Ducati Multistrada gearbox problems & issues. Broken - Shift return spring, fork return spring, gear selector spring and gear lever return spring. These are the common names used to describe the 2 springs that normally fail behind the left-hand side generator case / cover.

All Multistrada 1200 and 1260 models, all Monster 1200 models and all Diaval and XDiaval models 2010 to 2022 use the exact same springs for the shift return mechanism, so the information in this video will help lots of Ducati owners.
