2 Lbs. Fresh beef oxtail
10 Garlic
1 Bundle Scallion
1/2 Onion (optional)
1.5T Soup soy sauce
2t Salt

Dipping Sauce
Soy sauce
Vinegar
Chopped scallions
Red pepper flakes
Sesame oil
Sesame seeds

These days, cooking with pressure cookers and instant pots is the hottest culinary trend. Oxtail soup is a tremendously delicious dish that you can even purchase a pressure cooker for cooking it.

By the way, do you know the differences between sagol-guk, seolleong-tang, and gom-tang?
Sagol is often boiled with beef leg bones to make a broth. It is known for beef bone soup. So there isn't any meat inside of the soup and it tastes clean.

Seolleong-tang is made by boiling beef leg bones, knee bones, brisket, and other cuts for a long period of time.
You can think of Seolleongtang as Korean fast food because most restaurants serve it within 5 minutes after ordering it. Haha
It is seasoned with salt.
Seolleongtang really compliments chopped scallions and kkakdugi.
Gomtang broth is clear, but seolleongtang broth has a milky white color because it is boiled with a lot of bones.

Gomtang is made with various beef parts such as brisket, ribs, and oxtail. The broth is rich but has a clear color because it is made with meat rather than bones. And it is seasoned more with soup soy sauce than salt, unlike seolleongtang.

So, we call it "kkori"-gomtang because we make a gomtang with oxtail.
There are some differences among these three cuisines. However, the main similarity is that all of these three dishes are incredibly delicious.
