Genomics of healthy ageing in eusocial animals - Mark Harrison, Bornberg Lab, University of Münster, Germany
Mark completed his PhD in Leicester, UK in 2016, with Eamonn Mallon and Rob Hammond on the effects of ploidy on selection in bumblebees. Since then he has worked as a postdoc in Münster at the Institute for Evolution and Biodiversity, in the group of Erich Bornberg-Bauer. During this time he has been working on the evolutionary genomics of eusociality especially within termites, with a particular emphasis on longevity in queens
