Speaker: Marilou Bodde from the Wellcome Sanger Institute (Hinxton, UK). Marilou is a postdoctoral fellow analysing genomic sequencing data of Anopheles mosquitoes. She completed her PhD in early 2023, under the supervision of Mara Lawniczak and Richard Durbin. Currently, she is interested in monitoring Anopheles populations using genomic sequencing data. She is involved in two large-scale monitoring projects: ANOSPP and the Anopheles funestus population genomics project, where she applies existing and develops new computational methods to analyse the data in a meaningful way.
