I had so much fun recording this for you & laughed my way through any little mistakes or places where I lost my balance. I would love for you to do the same!

Aim for progress, not perfection :) & don't be too hard on yourself if you’re finding any of the drills tough, particularly towards the end of the session.

My top tips for the twisting action:

- Feet start & finish turned out & placed nicely.
- Front foot is only turned in for a slight second, then shoots back out.
- I like to think that the twisting action happens from the hip, down. Some dancers like to isolate the ankle.
- Connect with the floor & attack the twisty action. You want to look strong & confident, not hesitant.

Do take comfort in the fact that I found these drills tough, especially on the left foot, BUT I will say that I noticed an improvement in my technique by the end of this short session, so thank you! These classes encourage me to not only be a better teacher, but a better dancer!
