Extremely shallow river made it much worse than it would normally be, scraping the bottom, bouncing off boulders and having to get out of the boat to tow it over shallow parts. We had intended paddling to Fochabers or possibly Spey Bay on the Moray Firth, but decided to call it a day at Boat o' Brig. Hopefully more water the next time!

Tangoman went for an unplanned swim when his kayak capsized, mainly due to a bad combination of low water, large boulders and a fast current with awkward eddys.

Still a fabulous day on my favourite river!
