Decided to have a wee change from the sea kayaking so first time in a river since last October and only second time in fresh water this year. Paddled down the river Tweed - one of Scotland's 'big four' rivers - between Peebles and Peel. It's a nice route but hard work with the water level being so low... think I'll head back to the sea next week!
