Hello and welcome to another deep and dark atmosphere. I was recently introduced to a new friend called Andy Holt. He is a talented musician and vocalist. After some phone conversations where I'm pleased to say we got along very well, we agreed to collaborate.
We talked about the types of music that we both make and Andy had started to follow my channel. He kindly offered to send me some vocal audio samples for me to use in my videos. Thank you very much for that Andy, you're a star!

I saved some of his vocal samples into the Wavestate's user sample storage area, and I placed them into a mix of a new wave sequence that I made for this week's performance. I'm happy with the results.
I used some of his samples as organic and gritty sound beds by pitching them heavily and placing them subtly in the mix alongside the synthesiser audio.

This week the props are a couple of nice finds... 'borrowed' (not permanently... not at all!) from my wife, when a couple of years ago she went buying some old random things from large storage containers.
I think I'll keep an eye out for more of those bargain hunting sessions :-)
The props are:

* A light fitting made from an old English 'Universal Avometer Model 8 mk111' unit made by Avo Ltd, Dover, England.
On the top of the unit there's an original plate stating 'The Marconi Company Limited - College Instrument No: 1697'
According to this website http://www.richardsradios.co.uk/avo9.... it's possible to date the unit by checking the unit's last 3 digits of its serial number. They are '668' and they stand for the month and year.
So it was made in June 1968 :-)

* The 2nd prop is an old 'Kodascope Model C Film Projector' - Made in the USA by Eastman Kodak Co. Rochester, N.Y.
It says 'For use with slow burning film only' 100 Volts -- 150 Watts
Looking online at other units that look identical or almost, it seems like this dates back to the 1930's or 1940's.

The video notes explain a little about how I made the sound on the Hydrasynth. I took a couple of evening sessions to build the sound which is made up from 6 oscillators; each of them is modulated by its own LFO, and which also have their own speed and amount settings.

The master tuning of both synths is set to 432hz instead of the 'standardised' 440hz. This is to explore and use beneficial frequencies that dwell within the realm of the Solfeggio frequencies.
