This 30 mins practice will focus on some of the skills, drills, strength building exercises and stretches that are required to prepare our body and mind for such a challenging inversion as a handstand.

Our intention will be to increase our stamina and resilience while maintaining deep slow breathing and calm mind.

Get ready for many plank holds and its variations, as well as exercises to increase strength in abdominal muscles and hip flexors, open the shoulders, and stretch through entire backside of the body. We will finish with a few 30 secs handstand holds by the wall.

Put your best effort into this practice, rise up to a challenge but always remain mindful of your own body and signals it is sending you. Take breaks and modify if necessary. You can repeat this sequence as often as possible until it becomes easy for you.
