They sure did. The Oxblood delivers everything the official quote above says it will and then some. The Phat switch gives you a choice of two cutoff filters (Phat and not-so-Phat) the clipping switch offers two eminently useable clipping types - mythical and magical (of course!)

Clean to mean, rich and midrangey, the Oxblood is a pedal for the masses as its legacy is already proven and it simply offers that same legacy and then some. Try it, you'll like it.
