Whole Wheat Biscotti
Unsalted butter 85g
Sugar 120g (I use organic cane sugar)
Eggs 2
Baking powder 1 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon powder 1 tsp
Salt 1/4 tsp
Vanilla extract 1 tsp (1/2 tsp of vanilla paste)
Whole wheat flour 200g (I used Bob's Red Mill Organic Whole Wheat Flour)
Rolled oats 45g
Chopped nuts 100g (mixed nuts)
*You can also add chocolate chips according to your taste.

Please prepare ✔️
* Prepare butter and eggs at room temperature.


1. In a clean bowl, add butter and sugar and mix lightly. Add the eggs one at a time to make them smooth.
2. Add baking powder, cinnamon powder, salt, and vanilla extract to the dough.
3. Add whole wheat flour, rolled oats, and chopped nuts and mix.
4. When the dough comes together evenly, divide it into two parts. Place the two pieces of dough on a baking tray and shape into an oval shape.
5. Bake in an oven preheated to 175 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack for 20 minutes.
6. After 20 minutes, slice the biscotti into appropriate thicknesses and bake for an additional 25 minutes in an oven at 160 degrees. (At 12-13 minutes, turn the biscotti back and forth.)
7. Cool the baked biscotti on a baking tray.
8. Chilled biscotti can be stored at room temperature for about a week in an airtight container.
