බුද්ධාන්තරයක් පුරා පළිගත් සිත් නිවී සැනසුන බුදු කරුණාව | Buddha's grace that soothed the mind

රජ්ජුමාලා විමාන වස්තුව | Rajjumala Vimana Wasthuwa.

මිනිසුන් රජ්ජුමාලා නමින් හැඳින්වූ උරුවෙල් දනව්වේ බ්‍රාහ්මණ ගෙදරක දාසියක් විය. එම ගෙදර ලේලියට රජ්ජුමාලා දාසියට හිරිහැර පීඩා කරයි. දාසිය දකින විට පවා ඇයට දැඩි කෝපයක් ඇති වේ.

ඇගේ කිසිම වරදක් නැතිව, කෙස් වලින් අල්ලා ගෙන ඇයට පහර දෙනවා. හිරිහැර දරාගත නොහැකිව රජ්ජුමාලා තම දිගු කොණ්ඩය කපා දැම්මා. රජ්ජුමාලාගේ ස්වාමිදියණිය එය දැක කෝප වී ඇගේ ගෙලෙහි ලනුවක් බැඳ පහරදුන්නා. ලණුවක් ගෙලෙහි නිතර එල්ලෙන නිසා ඇය රජ්ජුමාලා නමින් හැඳුන්වූවා.

එක දිනයක නිවසින් ගොස් දිවි නසා ගන්නෙමි’ යි සිතුවා ය. පසුව ලනුවක් ගහක බැඳ සාදා ගෙල වැල ලා ගන්නට සූදානම් වී වටපිට බැලුවාය

බුදුන් වහන්සේ ඇයට පිහිට වීමට කලින් ම එහි වැඩ ගසක් මුල වැඩ සිටියා. එය දුටු රජ්ජුමාලා සිරුර බබළමින් ගස මුල ඉන්නා බුදුරදුන් දුටුවා. බුදුරදුන් වහන්සේ “ දියණිය රජ්ජුමාලා මා වෙත පැමිණෙන්න යැයි වදාළ සේක". සැනෙකින් ම ඇගේ සියලු දුක් අමතක වි ගියා.
සුවයක් දැනුන සේ ඇය සිත, සැනසීමක් ඇතිවුනා. ඇය මහත් ශ්‍රද්ධාවෙන් බුදුරදුන් වැඳ ඇසූ බණපද වලින් නිවී ගිය ඇය සසර ගමන සදහටම නවතා නිමා කළා ය.

Uruel Danav, whom people called Rajjumala, was a maidservant in a Brahmin household. The daughter-in-law of that house is harassed by the princess. She gets very angry even when she sees the maid.

For no fault of hers, he grabs her by the hair and beats her. Unable to bear the harassment, Rajjumala cut off her long hair. Seeing this, Rajjumala's wife got angry and tied a rope around her neck and beat her. She was called Rajjumala because a rope often hung around her neck.

He thought that one day I will leave home and kill myself. Then she tied a rope to a tree and looked around, ready to hang herself

Buddha was sitting at the root of a tree there even before he helped her. Seeing that, Rajjumala saw the Buddha at the base of the tree with his body shining. The Buddha said, "Daughter Rajjumala, come to me." In an instant, all her sorrows were forgotten.
She felt a sense of relief and comfort. She bowed down to the Buddha with great faith and was extinguished by the sermons she heard, she ended the journey of the world forever.
