But first we bring out the water…and it’s not just for sipping. These are polite raccoons… They wash their hands before dinner. Let’s face it, some people you know can’t even be bothered to do that…hmm hmm…like your friends new boyfriend?
Now for the first course we’ve got Peanuts—the raccoon version of fortune cookies. Crack it open, and there’s always a little good luck inside. Little Teeny, our head table inspector, claims ownership of the remaining morsels for quality control purposes.
Meanwhile, my assistant chef — who’s supposed to be helping me — is elbow-deep in the food supply. Classic teenager.
The 2nd course is shelled Sunflower Seeds and at this point I’m even doing VIP room delivery for this fluffy little nugget.
For the Third Course these forest puppies some doggy biscuits.
But our VIP guest does a dine and dash! He must have thought we were bringing him the dinner bill!”
And for Dessert we have Grapes!
Mom raccoon tilts her head back in bliss, like she’s starring in a shampoo commercial.
And after all we’ve put them through – don’t you think the animals of this world deserve more VIP treatment like this?
