How to Dougie: http://bit.ly/DOUGIE
The dime stop is not a specific dance move; instead, it's more like a technique. To dime stop, one moves into a pose with a single smooth motion, stopping the movement with a quick, sharp stop, as though stopping on a dime. It can be done in any direction with any pose. Here are some examples:

Arm Raise Right
Raise your left arm, palm out, extending it upward and to your right, fingers splayed out like you're waving hello. As you do this, lean very slightly forward and pivot your torso slightly to your right.

Arm Raise Left

Raise your right arm, palm out, extending it upward and to your left. As you do this, lean very slightly forward and pivot your torso slightly to your left. This should be one smooth motion.

Gimme Five Right
Extend your right arm to the right, bent at the elbow, palm open and facing upward. As you do this, lean your torso slightly to the right.

Gimme Five Front

Extend your left arm in front of you, bent at the elbow, palm open and facing upward.

Combination

After practicing these moves, try them all in a row. Each time you get into a pose, pause for a one count before switching to the next one.

Freestyle

Now that you've gotten these dime stop moves down, it's time to work on some new ones. Look in the video for examples, but don't just stick with those—invent your own!
