Secularism In Indian Ads | Why Are Indian Ads So Woke?

In recent years, we have seen a lot of secular/woke ads appear in India: Surf Excel Holi Ad, Fabindia, CEAT tires, Tanishq are some notable examples. You will also notice that many of these ads preach the same pseudo-secularism that Indians are getting sick of.

Before, Indian ads focused on entertainment or a catchy jingle. Now, it seems Indian ads focus more and more on woke/secular social messaging. So what changed? Why are Indian ads so woke/secular now?
