ZWIFT : RACE : SZR SUMMER RACE SERIES : LOW (USING RACING SCORE) - DOWNTOWN DOLPHIN - 17/07/2024

Thought I would try another race using the new score system and this one was recommended for me at 375 - 450.

All I can say is I went in at 415 and it didn't go that well for me.

Was doing fine keeping up but with front group but as soon as I hit that Prime I knew I would get dropped after a few laps due to pace and power the other riders were hitting it at.

I pushed up the Prime as best as possible and even managed 2no new PRs which was a bonus.

After a few laps I found I was struggling to keep momentum up the Prime, starting to get dropped near the top and then I was having to burn more energy to catch / chase down the small group of riders ahead of me to get back on their wheel.

I had no recovery time directly after the climb which was already zapping my legs, not a great scenario to be in during a race.

This was a tough race and it definitely tested my fitness / endurance.

Managed to get a new lap PR also on this one but my finishing position in my mind was just awful.
