Fulltime Vanlife from Gunning to Lake Hume and Melbourne

Описание к видео Fulltime Vanlife from Gunning to Lake Hume and Melbourne

Kicking off the day in the New South Wales town of Gunning, it's on the road to continue my trip back to Melbourne. While I've done the full 10hr drive many times before in one day, there's just no need for that anymore so I headed down to Albury and out to Lake Hume for the night. A quick wander around the Hume Dam as the sun was going down and then on to Ludlow's Reserve, where overnight stays are permitted.

Getting up before sunrise, I decided to drive over to Tallangatta Lookout to check out the fog as it was rolling down the valley to the lake.
The it was on to Melbourne to catch up with my son.

Next day was laundry day and I found myself close to the Heavenly Queen Temple, a Chinese Temple in Footscray on the edge of the Maribyrnong River. From there it was back to one of my favourite day stop locations, Sandridge Beach in Port Melbourne and on the bike for a ride around the Melbourne CBD.

Keep an ear open for some of my vanlifer tips, recommendations and general experiences throughout the video.

My name's Jason. Never one to miss an opportunity to have more fun in my life, after 25 years of working as a Mechanical Engineer, I took a redundancy, moved out of my house and started living full time in my self converted Ford Transit campervan. I pass my days mountain biking, bush walking and generally exploring the beautiful natural attractions that Australia has to offer.
