Bikepacking the John Muir Way

Описание к видео Bikepacking the John Muir Way

In this ninth episode I head to the west of Scotland for a two day Winter Bike Packing adventure along the John Muir Way. Starting in Helensburgh and finishing in Dunbar this coast to coast route is 212km long and follows straight-forward cycling trails. Named after the Scottish naturalist and environmentalist the route passes by some amazing locations including; Gouk Hill, Balloch Castle, Strathkelvin Railway Path, Falkirk Wheel, Avon Aqueduct, Linlithgow Palace, Kinneil House, Forth Bridges, Corstorphine Hill, Murrayfield, Arthur's seat and Muirfield Golf Course.

I did the John Muir Way over two days with a stopover in Linlithgow
DAY 1 - Helensburgh to Linlithgow - 100km
DAY2 - Linlithgow to Dunbar - 112km

I followed the route from the 'Big Rides: Great Britain & Ireland' book by Kathy Rogers and Markus Stitz:
