[0:00] Introduction and the Yarn Bases
[2:36] Dyeing the rainbow layer
8 cups of water + 3 T white vinegar
the yarn was presoaked in plain tap water
Add a little bit of FLuorescent Fuschia, Fluorescent safety orange, Radioactive, Fluorescent Lemon, Purple Pop, and Frozen in unknown concentrations
[3:50] The glazing plan
Stock solution of toner black dye
[4:24] Glazing Hawthorne
16 cups of water + 1 cup of white vinegar + 1/2 cup or 120 mL of our tonal black 1% stock solution (so 1.2 grams total)
Plan to steam set the yarn after glazing for 15-20 minutes in a steamer basket
[7:23] Wool of the Andes yarn mop
Soak up some of the extra color
[8:41] Glazing Muse Yarn
Add 1/2 cup of the toner black dye
[12:51] Glazing Twill Yarn
Add 1/2 cup of toner black before dyeing this yarn
[17:55] Steam setting the yarn
steam for 20 minutes
[19:21] washing the yarn
[20:22] the finished dry yarn and conclusions
