One of the best treatments for deep facial wrinkles is a chemical peel. There are several types of peels, but the deepest and most effective are the phenol based peels and TCA (trichloroacetic acid) chemical peels.

The reasons for treating a patient with a chemical peel are primarily uneven pigmentation and deep wrinkling of the face, which can be confined to the area around the eyes and mouth or the full face.
