রানী রাসমণি : শেষ পর্ব (দুই জামাইয়ের বিরুদ্ধে মামলা ও মৃত্যু )/ Rani Rashmoni (Court Case & Death)

This video is about the last period / days ( শেষ অধ্যায় / জীবন / পর্ব )of Rani Rashmoni ( রানী রাসমণি )including her death ( মৃত্যু )and the court cases ( মামলা )done by her against her son-in-laws( জামাতা / জামাই ), Mathurmohan Biswas ( মথুরমোহন বিশ্বাস )and Ramchandra Das ( রামচন্দ্র দাস ), Dakshineswar ( দক্ষিণেশ্বর ).

The last part of Rani Rashmoni’s life is undoubtedly full of surprising events. In 1851 she lodged a case with the then Supreme court against her dearest son-in-law Mathurmohan Biswas due to his dishonest interference in properties and money laundering case. In 1854 , she withdrew the case. Next in 1855, she made another court case against her eldest son-in-law Ramchandra Das who allegedly cheated her with her properties and money. But Ramchandra Das was also released from the case when Rani Rashmoni herself withdrew the case in 1859.

To tell the truth, this two court cases taught her a lot.She realized that properties, money etc actually kills our mental peace. Man should avoid this temptations. Finally she was transformed. From an ordinary woman, she became a very extraordinary one; from a rich woman she became almost a ‘nun’ who had no interest at all in power and wealth.

After suffering from an acute diarrhoea, she left this planet forever on 19th February, 1861.
