एकदा प्रसिद्ध शास्त्रज्ञ अल्बर्ट आईनस्टाईन आणि चार्ली चॅपलीन यांची भेट झाली. तेव्हा आईनस्टाईन चॅपलीनला म्हणाले, मी तुमच्या कलेचा खूप मोठा फॅनय. तुम्ही एकही अक्षर न बोलता लोकांना हसवता. तुमचं म्हणणं लोकांपर्यंत पोहोचवता त्याचं मला कौतुक वाटतं. त्यावर चार्ली त्यांना म्हणतो, मनापासून धन्यवाद.. मला सुद्धा तुमच्या कामाचा खूप आदरय. पण मला वाईट एवढंच वाटतं, की तुम्ही इतकं जीव तोडून लोकांना सायंटिफिक एक्स्प्रेशन्सबद्दल सांगता पण दुर्दैव हेच की लोकांना ते समजून घ्यायचं नसतं. आजवर वेंधळा माणूस म्हणून आपण ज्याच्याकडं पाहिलं त्या चार्लीचा हा समंजसपणा कधीच जगासमोर आला नाही. चार्लीचं एक फेमस वाक्यय, माझं दुःख लोकांच्या हसण्याचं कारण झालं तरी चालेल पण माझं हसणं कुणाच्या दुःखाचं कारण नाही झालं पाहिजे. आपल्यामुळं कुणाला त्रास न होणं ही इतकी खोल माणुसकीची जाणीव माणसांमध्ये तेव्हाच डेव्हलप होते जेव्हा त्याच्या वाट्याला दुनियाभरचं दुःख आलेलं असतं. चार्लीनं जगाला पोट दुखेस्तोवर हसवलं पण त्याच्या हसऱ्या चेहऱ्यामागं त्यानं त्याच्या अतीव दुःखाची छबी लपवून ठेवलेली होती हे फार कमी लोकांना माहितेय. आजच्या या व्हिडीओमध्ये आपण चार्ली चॅपलीन या महान कलाकराच्या आयुष्याची तीच धगधगती गोष्ट जाणून घेणारय...
