NOKPANTE captured the hearts of everyone with “Jakgitel”, a song with a strong message about needing freedom and peace at a time when Garo Hills was in a state of turmoil. It was the first A•chik (Garo) song to be featured in MTV Indies. Since then, they have released a number of songs that have evoked a variety of emotions and conversations. “Ambi Jakbrik, Mai Jingjing aro Gipin Golporang” is another one of those songs that is filled with nostalgia as it talks about stories we often heard as kids. It is part of their soon to be released EP "Ja•bisa”. NOKPANTE is constantly breaking barriers of genre and songwriting, bringing a sense of freshness to A•chik music.
