Decoded | EP 47 | Why the demand for Frontier Nagaland requires our attention

Nagaland is a lot of things, but it certainly cannot be termed as a developed state that has set the standard for high-quality living for its residents. The state does not even fare well in most metrics compared with other Northeast states, let alone the rest of the nation. However, some regions within Nagaland itself are considered much more backward than the rest of the state, giving birth to the demand for Frontier Nagaland, which comprises six districts viz. Tuensang, Mon, Longleng, Kiphire, Noklak, and Shamator. In this episode of Decoded we explain why people from Eastern Nagaland are demanding a separate state.
