I am thirsty for your vision O my Beloved, fulfill my innermost desires O Beloved! I thirst in hope of you, so why have you no care for me? I serve you with utmost devotion, so why then do you turn me away, my Beloved? — 1

Eji Didaari hove so esa chahaave Sahebji-ku(n)
Chhod kar orku(n) na dhiyaave
Didaari hove so dil baandhe, nit-nit adka neh dhare
Ek man ho kar naam leve, piyuka darshan so kare ji — 7

He who desires didar should not pay attention to anything other than their Master. He who would have didar attaches their heart to Him, increasing his love day by day. All alone he invokes His name, he achieves the darshan of the Beloved — 7

Saar kidhi Sahebji-e mori, rang raliya karo saaheliya
