Today, we came to a region called Dasht in Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan, and we are going to try Sajji Balochi, an extraordinary and famous local dish, along with Balochi bread, Khurud(a great combination with curd, onions and fried eggplant) and an amazing combination of heart, liver, brain, and lung with local spices.

All the dishes prepared in Dasht are as follows:
Sajji Balochi: Sajji is a beloved and traditional Balochi dish. Its essence lies in cooking meat over an open flame. The meat is skewered and placed over a pre-prepared fire pit dug into the ground until the meat is slowly and beautifully roasted to perfection. Sajji is served on trays covered with foil. Alongside it, cucumber, tomatoes, and carrots are also placed.
It is accompanied by special rice. With this amazing combination, the delicious Sajji is placed on top of the rice, making it a truly delightful and mouthwatering dish. All in all, Sajji is a very delicious and popular dish in Pakistan, prepared uniquely and using fresh ingredients.
Khurud: Delicious Quroot made with onions and curd (sour goat milk water) and topped with fried ringed eggplants at the end. The combination is truly extraordinary and delicious.
Local Balochi Bread: This local Balochi bread is very popular in Balochistan, Pakistan! It is typically made from dough, flour, and water. A tava (hot stone) is heated up for baking. The tava's surface is cleaned, and flour is placed inside a tray. Then, the dough is rolled in the flour to take a circular shape. These attractive and sweet movements showcase the best form of the dough. Next, the dough is placed on the tava's surface and baked. Once baked, the bread is cut on both sides and is ready to serve. This bread is very delicious and flavorful! I also ate it with some Sajji, which had an excellent taste.
A unique and delicious combination of fresh heart, liver, kidney, and lung:
In the Dasht region of Balochistan, Pakistan, there is a unique dish made from a combination of minced heart, liver, kidney, and lung of sheep. This dish is considered incredibly delicious. The preparation involves chopping onions, placing the mixture of heart and liver on a charcoal fire, adding oil, salt, and crushed garlic, and thoroughly mixing all the ingredients together. The region is known for its abundance of goats and sheep, and the internal organs of the animals are utilized in this dish. The freshness of the ingredients is emphasized throughout the process. This dish is absolutely tasty and exquisite
