HELLFIRE East Lancashire Railway Autumn Diesel Gala 2024 13/09/2024

An awesome day out to the East Lancashire Railway for their Autumn diesel event. The gala's locomotive roster mostly featured the home fleet (plus 26007) with some rare track moves offered throughout the day. I spent the day doing a mixture of bashing and watching from some of the beautifully restored stations along the route.

Personal highlights include: 45108 thrash; 26007/37109 thrashing through the tunnel; D7076 loud departure from Burrs Country Park; and some excellent teddy bear D9531 'Ernest' thrash.
