HOMEMADE CREAM CHEESE

Make creamy, fresh cream cheese at home in just 5 minutes using paneer, cream, and a few simple ingredients! It’s budget-friendly, preservative-free, and perfect for sandwiches, dips, and desserts. Tastes better than store-bought!

Ingredients
(For approx. 250–300g cream cheese)

Fresh paneer (or chenna) – 200 g
Fresh cream (malai) – 3 to 4 tbsp
Lemon juice – 1 to 1½ tsp (adjust to taste)
Milk – 1 to 2 tbsp (only if needed for blending)
Salt – a pinch (or to taste)

Method
1) Blend - Blend everything together until you get a smooth, thick, creamy, and shiny mixture. This may take 1–2 minutes depending on your blender.
2) Adjust consistency – If it’s too thick, add a splash more milk and blend again until it reaches your desired cream cheese texture.
3) Your cream cheese is ready! Transfer it to an airtight container and chill it before serving.

Optional Add-ins (for flavour variations):
Chopped herbs (like parsley, dill, chives, coriander)
Garlic powder or roasted garlic paste
Black pepper, chilli flakes, or za’atar
Italian seasoning and chilli flakes.
