Mass Effect 2 is Legendary

After many trials and tribulations, the thrilling continuation of the "Mass Effect is Legendary" trilogy is finally here! What wild and wacky stories will Commander Shepard and friends get up to this time? Will they defeat the Reapers once and for all? Rid the galaxy of all its evil and dastardly villains? Probably not, or there wouldn't be much point in the third game!

Mass Effect 2 begins just as Mass Effect 1 ended. With Commander Shepard and the Normandy flying off into space to garner information about the Reapers and prepare for their future arrival. Technically, this is a short while after the end of the first game, as all of the companions we made along the way – Kaidan, Garrus, Wrex, Tali and Liara – have all left the Normandy to pursue their own goals and aspirations. We’ll circle back to those guys later, because for now Shepard is still hanging out with Joker and my sweet summer child Pressly on board the Normandy, when suddenly… Despite all of Joker’s piloting prowess, an evacuation is called and all crew are sent into the escape pods. Shepard physically drags Joker, through absolute agony, to his escape. Shepard, however, isn’t so lucky, and as the Normandy sustains its final bit of damage and plummets to the surface of an icy planet, her body remains floating lifelessly in space… After a series of intense nightmares and visions, she awakes – alive and well – in a secure laboratory nowhere near where the Normandy was taken down.
