Pyaaz Besan ki Subzi

What do you make when you have no vegetables at home?
You make this delicious Onion and Besan subzi!
It tastes excellent and is very easy to do.
Try it out!

RECIPE :
Pyaaz Besan ki Subzi

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time :15 minutes
Serves :2

Ingredients:
tbsp Oil
1/2 tsp Carom Seeds (ajwain)
1 heaped cup roughly chopped Onions
Salt to taste
1 tsp chopped Ginger
1 tsp chopped Green Chilies
1 cup Besan (Chickepea Flour)
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1/2 tsp Red Chili Powder
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
1/2 tsp roasted Cumin Seeds
1 tsp Dry Mango Powder
2tbsp fine chopped Coriander

Method:
Heat Oil in a pan to medium hot.
Add in the Carom seeds, and then the chopped Onions.
Add salt to taste to help onions to soften and cook faster.
Once the Onions start turn golden in colour, add the chopped Ginger and Green Chilies.
Cook for about a minute till they turn fragrant.
Sprinkle 2 tbsp Besan and mix in. allow the besan to turn fragrant and add in 2 tbsp besan more. Cook further till the new batch of besan too turns fragrant and starts to turn brown.
Once again, add 2 tbsp Besan and cook further tii it turns Fragrant.
Now add in the turmeric, red cgili powder, coriangder powder, garam masala powder, cumin powder and mango powder.
Mi x these in well.
Add a sprinkle of water and mix well. Sprinkle a little more water and mix it in.
Add in chopped Coriander and remove from fire.
Serve hot.
