A review of the Master Grade Gundam F91 version 2.0 from the anime series "Gundam F91." Always nice to review a newer kit, especially a 2.0. I love how Bandai pulls out all the stops on 2.0's.

- Production notes for myself -

- This video is technically a reupload of a previous review. However, I had to take it down and swap out the music, so I decided to make some updates. Below are the notes for the original version, followed by the notes for this updated version.

- Like I mentioned in the notes for the Guncannon, I was hoping to try new things with this review, and I think I did. But unlike the God Gundam review that felt like I hit the peak of my current skill, this one feels like I'm at the bottom of the next skill level, if that makes sense.

- The most obvious change is the new font. While making this title card I wanted to get the exact font used for Gundam titles (It's Serpentine BTW). I saw it was much easier to read than my usual font, so I decided it was time to update my entire font library.

- The title card was a blast to make. I actually found (by accident) the same Earth jpeg that was used when Bandai first announced this kit. I literally just searched "Earth and Moon wallpaper." lol, I guess even major companies use google image search.

- I like how I got to skimp out on buying an LED kit. Let's see how long before I get a comment about it lol I really like the LED box over the manual shot though. Made it by accident, but think it's gonna be the new norm for showing things I don't have access to.

- This was a long review, so I had to cut out a lot of fluff. Mainly references to other kits. I kind of miss them, but ya know, probably for the best. I'm trying to reference more kits during reviews, not just to provide context, but to form some kind of continuity in these reviews. Like I mention a kit, and then link to my review of it.

- The audio came out pretty well here. I took extra care to remove all the clicks and breaths. Made the process twice as long, but what's a Redheadphones6 Gundam review without an excessively long production time for what is ultimately a toy review lolol

- Mixed up the transitions in this one. I mean, it's all still cross-fades, but I tried to match cut the two transitioning images so there's more of a seamless transition. Like with the shades of yellow, and f91 decal shots. I sort of thought of it during editing, so had to make do with the footage I already had, but I'm for sure gonna try to get footage more conducive to it next time.

- I got video footage for cut-away's this time. Usually it's only jpegs, but I really wanted to show off the shield generator, leg thrusters and the LED stuff. Definitely going to try and get more next time. They really spice things up.

- This kit didn't have manual inserts for gimmicks, so I took some anime images from off the wikia, but they didn't have beam sabers, so I had to scrap them all together. Kind of like them not being here though, keeps things clean and simple.

Here are the notes for this updated version:

- New music. Think I've decided on how I'm going to do these levels. Have the music real quite when my commentary turns out well, and louder when it's poor to cover the mistakes.

- Updated title card. Added a glow around the mobile suits, like moon light is reflecting off them, and added a ship in the back.

- This was the review I really nailed my color filter, so no change needed there.

- Added new audio for the waist articulation to clarify my point. Originally it was "I didn't find it useful for anything" but now it is a bit more specific and makes more sense. However my updated audio equipment again sounds too good, so the new line doesn't mix well with the original audio. What can you do tho? lol

- Re recorded the first line of the outro. Originally I mentioned the exact scores of the Hi-Nu and RX-78-2, but since I plan on redoing those, I decide to not be as specific in case I change their scores.

- Re-EQ'd audio. I don't know why, but I just can't get the bass cranked up on this era of audio. Very annoying. Newer equipment is great though, so shouldn't be an issue on newer reviews.

- Had had to re-encode this video about 15 times. I'd encode it, have it done, transfer all the files to my back up hard drive and erase. Then a week later I'd notice a mistake, so I'd go to the hard drive to and the new audio clips would be missing, so I'd have to re-record them. This exact situation happened 3 different times and I don't understand. Maybe my hard drive has a bad sector or something...

Anyway, here's some reward for reading all that nonsense lol. Couldn't decide on a song for this one, so here are the 2 I had on the most while working on this review.    • 「角松敏生  - SEA IS A LADY 2017」 Toshiki ...   and    • CINDY - Angel Touch (1990) -Track 1 -...
