Vintage Dover Hydraulic Elevator 272 Lawrence Avenue West, North York ON

(Filmed on July 18, 2024). This is the elevator at 272 Lawrence Avenue West here in North York ON. This is a very unique vintage Dover Hydraulic Elevator from the early to mid 1970s with GAL fixtures. It is my I believe very first time seeing one of these. The door bumper got replaced at some point of time but still kept the old buttons intact and present. This elevator is around 50 years old and hasn’t been used as many times. I’ve seen some small office building that modernized there very old elevators but this one still didn’t so I was lucky filmed it original. I do like the square analog floor indicators. It also runs like new as well based on the behaviour.
