Welcome to my guide for winning The Human Comedy - Lake Maggiore Race on Gran Turismo 7.

THIS RACE WAS COMPLETED ON HARD DIFFICULTY

THIS RACE WAS RECORDED ON UPDATE 1.42
As new game updates come out I will make a note in the description if any changes are required to the car setup or strategy.

UPDATE 1.50 - No changes required

UPDATE 1.49
Tyre wear has changed from X5 to X4
The car I used for this race still feels great to drive. If you aren't happy with using the car I used then its definitely worth trying out other Gr.3 cars that suit your driving style while still following my strategy.

This is a 1 hour endurance race around Lake Maggiore featuring Gr.3 cars, BoP (Balance of Performance) is ON so we cannot change the car setup. Racing Hard and Racing Medium Tyres as well as Intermediate and Heavy Wet Tyres are available.

Race Strategy - Start the race on Racing Medium Tyres, pit with 40 minutes left in the race for new Racing Medium Tyres and a full tank of fuel. Pit again with 20 minutes left in the race for new Racing Medium Tyres and only add 90% fuel. DO NOT save fuel during the race.

Car Choice for this race: Mercedes-AMG GT3 ‘20
This car feels good to drive, even on worn tyres the car feels very consistent to drive. Feels great under braking and doesn’t oversteer too much on corner exit.

This race has a pretty straight forward strategy, what makes this race difficult is the AI are pretty quick and can be aggressive with blocking and overtakes. The key to winning this race is consistency. Aim for 1.58.0 or better lap times every lap, if you can’t do this consistently then you need to do some more practice. If you can consistently do 1.58.0 or better then you should have no trouble winning this race.

You don’t need to overdrive and push the car, you will be faster by driving smooth and consistently.

You can really abuse track limits around this circuit, that is the key to getting better lap times, especially the back ‘S’ section of the track, the AI seem to be a little slow through that section of the track.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask me in comments below.
