I didn't play with every weapon or every operator, specialist, hero, character so I won't be able to comment on or answer all questions. I do think they should have made the operator that has a rocket launcher the default or first slot specialist so people start with him before trying or looking at the others. Mainly because it seems like no one was playing him or the other support like operators either because they didn't know what gadgets they had or they wanted the operator that easily heals himself or the fast operator that slides and can equip the syringe or armor plates or grenade launcher.

So far as I've unlocked and played around with on the firing range the snipers seem like lobbing softballs at people with how much drop or how slow the muzzle velocities are. They really seem to not want sniping to be enjoyable and I don't know why they have such a hang-up on fast or satisfying ADS/zoom times, the sniper rifles weren't one-shooting to the body at close ranges.

This could be paranoia but for me and it seems mus1ck experienced something similar it felt like the game had some form of SBMM protection or mechanics related to that for the first few rounds or ranks or kills. Not really sure but for example the CAR-15 felt great for a few rounds then for some reason the accuracy and stability got worse but I hadn't messed with or changed any of the attachments. It was like the base accuracy got worse or hitreg got worse because I had leveled up passed a certain point. It could have been coincidence and maybe the first few rounds were in closer, lower ping ranges and the game just breaks if your ping goes beyond a certain range but it felt so noticeable that I can't help but wonder especially since it's a free to play game. If there were bots in the game I couldn't figure out the naming scheme being used for them. Sometimes it felt like the game was just giving the kill even though it shouldn't have.

I don't think this type of game needs a lean mechanic, not with everything else the game has. I also don't know why it needs tack-sprint or two speeds like BF2042 since there doesn't appear to be any restriction in the Havoc Warfare ( Battlefield Breakthrough ) mode. There are a lot of things like that the game doesn't need to be "good" or "enjoyable", they seem to currently break things in the game although that could be because of other aspects of the game or game engine. So much hero power nonsense ( walls, wallhacks for days, 3D spotting like it's BC2 ), I think the game would have been fine just having them be soldiers with various classes. Because it seems like they could have applied the "less is more" design philosophy in a few more areas of the game since it already has quite a lot in it.

If you have good eyes you'll notice the mini-map in this game is doing that same stutter, slow response it does in BF2042 when playing solo/coop where the tickrate is lower than the game is designed for. Considering mus1ck said we were drifting sideway while going forward another direction I'd say there is a possibility there are multiple tickrates for things or desync.

I don't know if they are going to but if they have a lot of maps at launch it could certainly be a decent distraction for a while. No I don't think it's a Battlefield killer although for anyone who only spends there time playing Breakthrough or infantry only maps in BF2042 they probably would consider this game a Battlefield killer.

I might be overthinking things based on the short playtime but it feels like one of those games where the more things people unlock the worse the game feels from cheese, cheap, low effort kills that don't feel deserved. It'll be interesting to see if the studio handling this game has any drive or interest in balance because if they don't I can see this game becoming quite frustrating to play after people start unlocking later things.

Anyways I am surprised by how much of the game works although I don't really know anything about the studio behind the game so I don't know if they'll continue to make improvements. I do wonder if the volume of players is causing the lag.

I'll try to add more as people leave questions or comments about things they see or are curious about.
