SV-98 Sniper Delta Force Hawk Ops Alpha

Описание к видео SV-98 Sniper Delta Force Hawk Ops Alpha

SV-98 sniper rifle gameplay from the Delta Force Hawk Ops Alpha Test. It still feels like trying to make sniper rifles work in this game is like fighting the game itself more than the players/ai/bots. Not sure if it's a sensitivity conversion issues or differences in zoom FOV or what but it feels strange at times like the game wasn't design for it.

On the subject of player visibility it's pretty easy to see players at a distance because the low poly/textured models used at range seem to glow so I don't know why they felt the need to have Battlefield's broken 'Q' spotting or 3D spotting in the game. Sure it's a different icon but it's functionally the same and broken in similar ways. It just seems unnecessary for the game since it already has low texture models that glow and Operators that highlight enemy players through walls, I mean removing 3D spotting would make those recon type Operators feel more useful to the team. Did they add the 3D spotting because of mobile? Like is it too hard to see players on the smaller screens so they need those bright red icons above the enemy players heads?

I've seen ai/bots in ranked so at this point for me it just feels like any kills or deaths are meaningless since you can't prove whether they are a real person or not. Out of all the things to copy from BF2042 why did they copy the scoreboard that doesn't show other player's pings/latency on it. Well considering they seem to be trying to hide ai/bots using names that are similar to real player names who knows.

I will say whoever is in charge of major decisions for the game they seem to have a grasp on how to "sell" an unfinished game. Tricking or fooling players might be too harsh in describing it but for a while there I was wondering why they had multiples of some Classes ( Assault/Recon ) but only one of the other two Classes ( Support/Engineer ) in the game. Then they added in the other Engineer Operator like it was finished months ago as they already had promotional slides for it. Like imagine if DICE had one Specialist for each Class in BF2042 at launch and they kept adding a new Specialist every two or three weeks after launch? People would have ate that crap up like they are with this game. Part of me wonders if they are going for the early access or open beta approach and then I remember this game heavily copies from other games like Escape From Tarkov and that game has been in beta or early access for years so yeah they might.

With the sniper rifles in this game it seems like they didn't give them all or most of them the same treatment they gave other weapon categories. You can't change much with the stocks or lowers except for the M700 and AWM but on so many of the SMGs and ARs you can basically change every aspect of the upper and lower. Although they treated the shotguns similarly so maybe the developers are focused on the full auto AR and SMG spam as the main playstyle for the game. It makes sense considering there is no strafe movement spam penalty or lean spam penalty when firing. That and no bullet penetration on enemies or friendlies or even limbs from what I've seen in the game ( weapon, hands, arms, etc. can block headshots ). That is an interesting approach for them to take for the game since it kind of encourages lean and strafe spam to move your characters limbs around to block what would normally be lethal shots. It would be even worse if they added something like armor into the game...

My ping/latency would spike a lot for this game and you can see that in the example I included in the video. I'm not quite sure why but with where they have their game servers setup I only have question upon question because the routing to their servers makes no sense and the majority of the time that kind of stuff is handled on the game developer side of things or how they setup the server client end point routing. The amount of hops it takes to get to a west coast server while connecting from the west coast is absurd. I get that it's Tencent and they want to scrape, steal, who knows what with our data but can't they just do that in the background and not within the game's connection to the server client?
