Delta Force WTF

Описание к видео Delta Force WTF

Why did they go with Delta Force instead of Hawk Ops for the game's name change. I mean I know why but still outside of the singleplayer/campaign story that we don't know much about the rest doesn't share much if anything in common with the previous Delta Force games. Hawk Ops is a great name for it especially since it's supposed to be a free to play game and on mobile.

Sorry I didn't include Roof Dads in this one it would have made the video too long. Also I seriously don't know what this "alpha" is for. They don't seem to care at all about the Havoc Warfare game mode or at least they don't appear to be making an effort to test the gameplay loop experience for the mode based on how bugged most of the weapons are for it. Like if they did the damage that their stats say they should do the TTK would be dramatically different for a lot of weapons and it's not like that is a complicated or difficult bug to correct so it's odd that they'd just leave them like that. Two things to note it would be one thing if it "wAs A ViSuAl BuG" but you can see multiple examples that counter that in the weapon damage bug section of the video. Some have the same body damage across limbs and torso, some have different leg and upper body damage and the majority of the weapons have bugged headshot damage and yet all of them according to the stats are supposed to have different damage values to the head, arms, torso, and legs. For some of weapon categories it was pretty bad, I think it was only two pistols, two DMRs, and one SMG that had the correct damage or as close to the correct damage as they can get for that mode. No idea the kind of math they are using but they appear to have some rounding issues for the headshot damage for a lot of the weapons in the Tactical Turmoil/Hazard Operations/extraction mode. Yes this was tested recently. Although considering there doesn't seem to be limb penetration the result is headshots don't have good value compared to high body shot damage ( hands, arms block headshots ) so even with the Aug being able to do so much damage to the head it doesn't mean much when players can strafe and lean spam while firing and blocking headshots in the process. Again I'm not sure why they even bothered including the Havoc Warfare game mode in this "alpha" or build, it doesn't appear to have the same attention from the developers as the extraction mode does.

So many bugs similar to bugs found in Battlefield games. It's funny seeing it after so many people kept crying and whining saying Battlefield would be better with less bugs on a different engine...Yeah it'll be interesting watching things break if they decide to actually remove bots from the larger player count game mode since I don't think they've gotten anywhere near a fully populated server yet. Or maybe they have and that was why we experienced those mass lagfests early on where everyone was skipping/warping around like they were playing from the moon ( speculation ).

mus1ck stumbled across the weapon damage bug while I was trying to sort out sensitivity conversions and having him reproduce bugs I noticed within the settings menu for mouse input or mouse sensitivities. Considering how limited it is in this build I'm surprised how much of it is bugged for one screen/tab.
