मसाला आलू पराठा बनवण्यासाठी लागणारे साहित्य

Masala aloo paratha is a delicious variation to your regular aloo paratha. This paratha turns out perfectly like the one that we get on a street side stall. There are few tips to make perfect paratha. I will be giving few tricks so that the stuffing from your paratha won’t come out while rolling or roasting. This paratha will turn nice and crispy. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.
Ingredients:
• 2 cups Wheat flour
• Salt to taste
• Water
• 3~4 boiled and peeled Potatoes
• 1 tsp Garam masala
• 1 tsp Coriander powder
• 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
• Finely chopped Green chili (Optional)
• 1 tsp Red chili powder
• Salt to taste
• Finely chopped Onion
• Lemon juice
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves
• Ghee
Method:
• Take wheat flour in a bowl and add salt.
• Add a little water at a time to knead semisoft consistency dough.
• Grease a little oil on the dough, cover and rest it for about 15-20 minutes.
• For making stuffing grate the boiled potatoes in a bowl and add garam masala, coriander
powder, cumin powder, green chili, red chili powder, salt, onion, lemon juice, coriander leaves.
• Grating potatoes help not to burst the paratha.
• Adding green chilies is optional. You can skip it if you don’t want.
• Mix everything well together and stuffing is all ready.
• Make balls from the stuffing of the size you want.
• Take the dough and knead it well once.
• Take a small portion and make it smooth and even.
• Dip the dough ball in dry flour and make a pari like we make for puranpoli or modak.
• You can roll it also. Make sure to keep the central portion a little thick while rolling.
• Fill the stuffing and bring the edges together.
• Seal it well and sprinkle dry flour on it.
• You can pat it to roll into paratha or roll it using rolling pin.
• The paratha should be a little thick.
• Heat up a pan on medium heat and transfer plain side on the paratha and the side having few
cracks upwards.
• Roast well for about a minute or two from lower side on medium heat.
• Flip the paratha over and roast well from other side too.
• Flip over and spread ghee on upper side. You can use oil in place of ghee.
• Turn the heat to low and flip the paratha over.
• Spread ghee on upper side and flip over.
• Sprinkle garam masala, red chili powder on the paratha, little ghee again and spread it well.
• You can use different masalas like kanda lasun masala or Sunday masala or grated garlic in
place of garam masala.
• Flip over and sprinkle garam masala, red chili powder, little ghee on the other side if you want
and spread it well.
• Flip the paratha over and roast for about a minute or two.
• Take the paratha off into a dish and masala aloo paratha is all ready.
• You can serve this paratha with curd or pickle.
• You can make around 7-8 parathas from the used proportion.
