What is dead air??? That awkward silence in between calls that might make you panic wondering what you should say while the caller themselves build up in frustration and slight panic if you are not engaging. They are wondering if you are still there, and whether they will get the help they need to resolve what they called about in the first place. I give you my perspective as an American, having lived among native speakers all my life, and experiencing first hand working in a call center prior to diving into the teaching world.

Welcome everyone! I'm here as an English teacher sharing my lessons to help students around the world who want to improve their English. Whether you are new to this channel, or you have been following me the past year or so, I want to thank YOU for giving me the opportunity to share this with you.

A little bit about me, I was born and raised in the U.S to immigrant parents from Mexico. As the first born, my first language was Spanish and didn't start learning English until I was in school. It wasn't until I was around 10 years old when I became more confident as I gradually spoke more and expanded my English writing skills as well.

Presently, I l live and teach English as a Second language at a middle school in San Jose, CA. I have worked with both children and adults from several countries such as Brazil, Colombia, Japan, and other parts of Asia. I LOVE learning different things from my students such as their favorite foods, music, and their first language. I believe we all have something we can learn from each other and I take that belief in every classroom I step in.

I'd appreciate the support you can give by simply liking the video, subscribing if you haven't already, and sharing it to others whom you think would benefit from my channel. I am also a student of video editing...lol. I hope as I continue, you'll notice my editing will also improve to make the best quality video I can make for you. Some have asked about private lessons. I'm currently, not holding private lessons due to my current work constraints where I teach in person. I am considering this as an option for later in the future so stay connected!

Thank you so much for all your support! Here are some links to some of my related videos as well. Feel free to check them out! Gracias!
