Multiplying Pole Beans From the Seed Archive (Summer 2023) - ÖBZ DE #9 | Global Bean Show Gardens

In this video the ÖBZ team shows us the results of sowing different types of beans to multiply seeds from several varieties from their seed archive. They show us details of five varietes: Maisbohne, Giant of Stuttgart, Witzenhausen, Perle von Marbach and Mongetes del Ganxet.

The ÖBZ Team is a volunteer group within the community garden project at the Ecological Education Center (ÖBZ) in Munich. They collect varieties of beans that are no longer in commercial use, and aim to spread the use of old bean varieties and raise awareness of the importance of seed autonomy. They now have over 200 varieties.
