8th Generation Honda Civic Drive Belt/Serpentine Belt Replacement Tips. In this video I give some tips on how to replace a drive belt, otherwise known as a serpentine belt, on an eighth generation Honda Civic. The routing for the drive belt on this Civic was changed by Honda per Service Bulletin 06-059. Replacing the drive belt is a good DIY project and can save some money. The exact vehicle in this video is a 2006 Honda Civic 1.8L EX Sedan. 2006-2011 Civics should be similar.
