In this talk, I explain what the future of rehabilitation will look like. Using the example of a person who has had a stroke and has trouble communicating, I talk through research that illustrates how the brain can be plastic and can change after rehabilitation. I also provide examples of how technology can facilitate access to rehabilitation services, such that people all over the world can practice from their homes and take ownership of their rehabilitation, and how technology can make rehabilitation more and more personalized.
