BUILDING BOOM & BUST IN LIVERPOOL SOUTH | Construction regeneration dereliction

Following on from my Liverpool Building boom 2021 video, I take a look at some projects in the area south of Liverpool city centre.

As well as some interesting new apartment buildings, there is also a large stalled construction site right in the middle of the area that is quite shocking. It was supposed to be the New Chinatown project but it stalled, along with other projects. What is the reason for the building project failure? I'm not quite sure, and I invite people to comment.

How is Liverpool being transformed by these new developments? Will they make property only affordable to people on high salaries? What about the architectural merits of the featured Liverpool construction projects? Answers in the comments!
