2011 4G Subaru Outback 3.6R Serpentine Belt, Tensioner, and Idler Pulley Replacement

Описание к видео 2011 4G Subaru Outback 3.6R Serpentine Belt, Tensioner, and Idler Pulley Replacement

In this video, I swap out the serpentine belt, tensioner and idler pulley in a 4th generation Subaru Outback (3.6R H6 Limited), using no special tools (just an inexpensive box end wrench set, and a cheap socket set).

FYI, you'd probably save time and effort disconnecting the upper radiator hose at the radiator, and folding it back (as I did in my recent 2G Outback video)... I mainly just wanted to see that I could work around the hose.

This isn't a difficult job, though there are a few tricks that this video will help you with (using a second "torque multiplier" wrench, aligning the tensioner bolts, easiest method for getting the belt on and off the pulleys, etc.).

If this video helps you, I'd sincerely appreciate it if you would like the video and subscribe to my channel. That will help make it easier to find other (and new) videos on similar subjects that might help you in the future, and will help me continue to make DIY videos for the amateur wrench-twisters.

Thanks!
