Upgrading my Miata's Front Brakes & Hubs for Aesthetic Reasons

Описание к видео Upgrading my Miata's Front Brakes & Hubs for Aesthetic Reasons

There wasn't really anything wrong with my brakes. But they were kinda ugly. Therefore, I embarked on a quest to replace, clean up, and paint everything you can see behind the front wheels, because my new shiny wheels were let down by the old crusty calipers. But given that my Miata is a 1991 NA with over 140k miles, some of these things were probably due to be replaced anyway, like the wheel hubs & bearings, which are integrated in this case.

So in this video, I take apart the front brakes, hubs/bearings, and dust shields, clean things up, disassemble my old calipers using a bicycle pump, decide I need new ones, paint the new ones red, paint the dust shields black, install new hubs/bearings, install shiny new slotted rotors, and top it off with new stainless steel braided brake lines. As with most things I do, it took too long but looks really nice.
