Did you know that the gut of someone with psoriasis looks a lot like someone with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)?

This is a big deal because IBD is one of the many co-morbidities of psoriasis, so this should be factored into your psoriasis treatment plan.

While not all doctors are up on the latest research, my guest today is AND completely agrees that there is a distinct connection between psoriasis + the gut microbiome that we all should be aware of!

Today's guest is Dr. Fabrizio Galimberti. He completed his medical training at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine-Case Western Reserve University, received his doctorate degree from Dartmouth College and his residency at the Jackson Memorial Hospital-University of Miami Miller School of Medicine where he also served as chief resident. Dr. Galimberti's research interests include oncodermatology, autoimmune connective tissue diseases, and impact on quality of life of dermatologic conditions. He has published numerous articles in prestigious journals as well as presented his work at international conferences.
